My granddaughter and I had a watercolor painting session together on the deck of our cottage, and this was our subject. I later finished it in the studio. The book is a small volume of poetry by Emily Dickinson and the bee was a volunteer. Rudbeckia is the signature flower of our lakeside place in New Brunswick.

The original watercolor painting measures 13” x 14.5”. It is also available in a fine art giclee print in the same size. Original watercolor paintings are sold matted using acid-free white mat board. Giclee reproductions are sold unmatted and unframed.
