This is my favorite section of my herb garden. In late June, the pink dianthus march across like notes on a green musical scale. The wooly thyme crawls past its rocky borders - surrounded by sage and budding lavender. The red sedum give the color punch. The snow-in-summer sparkles. This is truly the image of summer. The rocks are warm with sunlight and the oak leaves from the previous autumn are brown and crisp.
